Founded in 1994 and later incorporated in 1997, The Limit Software designs and publishes Internet software solutions.  The privately held company, located in Northwest Indiana some 25 miles from downtown Chicago, pioneered the cookie manager genre with the release of the first cookie manager created for Windows 95 -- Cookie Crusher -- in February 1997.  This product was later followed up with CyberClean, a software application that automatically clears Internet debris from a user's hard drive.
